On Sunday, December 7, severe power supply restrictions will be in effect across Ukraine. After a massive Russian missile and drone strike, the power system is operating at its limit, so at least three, and in some cases four, consumer lines will be shut off simultaneously throughout the day.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

According to the company, the outages will affect all regions of the country without exception. Household consumers will work according to stricter hourly schedules, and industry will work according to separate restriction schemes, which will also be in effect around the clock.

Energy experts warn: the duration of outages can be quickly increased or reduced, depending on the load. Ukrainians are asked to monitor the messages of their regional energy companies and save electricity immediately after it appears so as not to overload the system.

Recall that on the night of December 6, Russia again launched a combined strike on energy infrastructure – simultaneously with missiles and drones. Generation, distribution facilities and main networks in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Lviv, Odessa, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions were under attack.

The strikes caused new damage and power shortages, which is why massive restrictions are being imposed on December 7.

As reported, emergency power outages were introduced in several regions of Ukraine on December 6 after a large-scale Russian attack with missiles and drones on energy facilities.
