Up to over 3,000 kilometers: Zelensky announced increased long-range strikes on Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will continue to increase the range of strikes on Russian territory and increase the radius of action of domestic drones to over 3,000 kilometers. According to him, strikes on Russian military infrastructure will only intensify.
He spoke about this on the national telethon.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will continue to expand the capabilities of long-range drones to strike military facilities on Russian territory.
“Russians must feel: the war must return to Russia, to the territory of the country that started the aggression,” the president said.
According to the head of state, the day before, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil refinery in Tyumen, which is located more than 2,000 kilometers away.
“Two new Fire Point drones hit the target, directly – 2,070 kilometers. They will reach 3,000 plus. These are new drones. We will go further, because we understand where their military plants, oil bases, gas storage facilities, etc. are. We need to have a tool for a longer distance,” Zelenskyy said.
The President also noted that this year the Ukrainian military began to inflict tangible blows on Russia.
“The Russians are hitting us every day, and we will respond every day. Every day there will be an increase in responses,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
By the way, explosions were heard in Tyumen, Russia, on June 20, after which smoke was seen over the area of the local oil refinery. The Tyumen Oil Refinery is one of the largest independent oil refineries in Russia andis located approximately 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border in the Luhansk region.
