On Wednesday, July 15, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv.
She reported this on her page on the social network X.
“Just arrived in Kyiv on my 11th visit to Ukraine during wartime. This is a special moment,” von der Leyen wrote.
According to her, the situation is changing, and Ukraine “has created a strong military impetus.”
The President of the European Commission announced that during her visit she would announce new initiatives to integrate the defense industries of Ukraine and the European Union. Furthermore, the parties plan to discuss Ukraine’s further European integration process, as well as the country’s preparations for the upcoming heating season.
