US approves sale of spare parts for military equipment to Ukraine: details

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the US State Department has approved the sale to Ukraine of spare parts for previously delivered military equipment.
This was reported by the press service of the department.
It is noted that the cost of the batch of components and assemblies is about $185 million.
The Ministry of Defense emphasized that this will help keep American weapons systems used by the Armed Forces in combat readiness and increase effectiveness on the battlefield.
“We thank the United States for its support,” the department added.
By the way, the US is sharply increasing the production of missiles, in particular the Tomahawk cruise missiles , as well as anti-aircraft and aviation ammunition, which are used or may be used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The day before, US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker said that the United States will continue to provide Ukraine with offensive weapons until a peace agreement is signed.
