US Deploys Military Forces to Middle East Following Israeli Strikes on Iran
Following the Israeli attack on Tehran, the United States has begun redeploying military forces in the Middle East.
This was reported by the Associated Press, citing two officials.
The US Navy has reportedly ordered the destroyer USS Thomas Hudner to begin moving toward the Mediterranean Sea. Another vessel is also being deployed to stand ready for potential orders from the White House.
According to sources, former President Trump is holding a meeting with the National Security Council leadership to discuss the situation.
Recall that on the night of Friday, June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation against Iran and massively attacked nuclear and military facilities.
As it became known, an air strike carried out by Israel on the Iranian capital, Tehran, killed more than 70 people, at least 20 of them high-ranking military personnel .
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Israel’s attack on Iran was “great.”
