US President Donald Trump said that the US fleet is approaching the coast of Iran. Therefore, he called on Tehran to immediately begin negotiations on the nuclear deal.

This was reported by the Bloomberg news agency.

According to him, the fleet, led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, is capable of “accomplishing its mission quickly, with speed and violence if necessary.”

Trump stressed that Iran must quickly conclude a deal, and if this does not happen, the country will face much worse blows than those inflicted in June 2025.

“We hope that Iran will quickly ‘sit down at the negotiating table’ and negotiate a fair and equitable deal – without nuclear weapons – one that will be beneficial to all parties,” the American president wrote on social media.

In response to Trump’s threats, Iran responded. They assured that they are ready for dialogue with the United States. However, the country is ready to defend itself and “react like never before” if pressure is put on it.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei left public space and is in an underground bunker due to a possible US attack on the Islamic Republic. According to media reports, the decision was made due to rising military tensions in the region.
