US intelligence reveals how much damage was actually done to Iran’s nuclear facilities

US strikes on Iran’s three largest uranium enrichment sites did not destroy key elements of the Iranian nuclear program, but they did delay the program’s development by about a few months.
These conclusions are contained in a secret US military intelligence report, which was reported by CNN and the New York Times .
The report indicates that Iran was able to remove its stockpile of enriched uranium before the attacks, and most of the centrifuges remained largely intact. The main damage was to the above-ground facilities – the entrances to two underground facilities were blocked by rubble, but the bunkers themselves remained intact. The power supply complex of the nuclear facility in the mountainous region of Fordow was also damaged, but the facility itself did not suffer serious damage.
Previously, US intelligence estimated that Iran would need at least three months to urgently create a nuclear weapon. Now, according to military analysts, it will take about six months.
Israeli intelligence shares a similar view: the US and Israeli strikes only set back Iran’s nuclear program for a few years, but did not destroy it completely.
Weapons expert and professor Jeffrey Lewis stresses that Iran has all the resources to restart its nuclear program in underground bunkers. He predicts that it could take about five months to create a nuclear bomb.
Recall that the United States Air Force attacked Iran’s nuclear infrastructure , including the most protected facility in Fordow.
As reported, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said that the United States’ strikes succeeded in destroying Iran’s nuclear program.
Iran subsequently fired several missiles at American military bases in the Middle East in response to US strikes on Tehran’s nuclear program facilities.
