US may attack Iran soon: Tehran is preparing a response

The United States may strike Iran in the near future, but Tehran has declared its readiness to attack in response.
This was reported by Reuters.
The US is currently withdrawing some troops from major military bases in the Middle East. The UK is also relocating personnel from an air base in Qatar.
“All signals indicate that a US attack is imminent, but that’s how this administration is behaving to keep everyone on alert. Unpredictability is part of the strategy,” a Western military official told the news agency.
Two European officials said the US intervention could happen within the next 24 hours. An Israeli official shared the same view, but the timing and scope remain unclear.
As noted, US President Donald Trump previously promised to help Iranian protesters, but this ended with statements.
Tehran has now appealed to American allies in the region to prevent a US attack.
“Tehran has informed countries in the region, from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Turkey, that American bases in these countries will be attacked (if the US strikes — ed.),” the official noted.
Trump previously expressed support for Iranians participating in the protests and stressed that aid for them was on the way.
Recall, Trump stated that the United States may intervene in Iran’s internal affairs in the event of a brutal suppression of peaceful protests.
