US representative left the “coalition of the determined” in the middle of the meeting: what happened in Paris

US President Donald Trump’s special representative, Steve Witkoff, unexpectedly left the Elysee Palace, where a meeting of the countries of the so-called “coalition of the determined” in support of Ukraine is underway today.
This is reported by Radio Liberty.
According to official sources, Witkoff was at the meeting for only a short time. He left the room 20 minutes after the discussions began. The French side explained that this was planned in advance, as the US representative had other diplomatic meetings scheduled.
However, the American envoy managed to address the leaders of the participating countries, after which he left the summit. He is expected to rejoin the talks during a phone call with US President Donald Trump, which is scheduled for the final stage of the meeting.
As a reminder, on Thursday, September 4, a meeting of the “Coalition of the Determined” began at the Elysee Palace – an international association of countries coordinating military and political support for Ukraine.
