The “East” group of troops denied information spread online about the occupation of Vasyukivka in the Kramatorsk direction by the Russians.
This is stated on their Facebook page.
“Information is being spread online about the alleged occupation of the settlement of Vasyukivka. This information is not true,” the military assured.
It is noted that the Defense Forces maintain control over the village and also inflict fire damage on the enemy.
Russian infantrymen try to infiltrate the settlement, but SOU units detect and mostly destroy them on the approach to Ukrainian positions.
In addition, according to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, search and strike operations are being carried out.
Instead, in the Svyato-Pokrovsky area, the Ukrainian military withdrew a few weeks ago to more western positions for better interaction and to preserve the lives and health of personnel.
Despite this, drone units and artillery maintain fire control over the settlement and its approaches.
Among other things, the group commented on the situation in Hryshyn in the Pokrovsky direction, calling it “complicated.” The enemy there failed to bypass the settlement. Currently, the Russians are carrying out numerous attacks directly in Hryshyn, and the Defense Forces are repelling them.
The press service of the Ukrainian Front “East” noted that the military is holding the designated lines and blocking the enemy’s advance from the east into the center of Hryshynye, and moreover, the occupiers have recently lost some positions there.
“The messages spread by various public organizations, including the “Deep State”, are their own interpretation of the situation and do not fully reflect the realities on the battlefield,” the group emphasized, calling for trust in official sources.
It was previously reported that Russian occupation forces captured Svyato-Pokrovske and Vasyukivka in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region.
