Venezuela will transfer up to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States.

US President Donald Trump announced that Venezuela’s interim authorities will transfer between 30 and 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil to the United States.
Trump wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.
Trump said the oil would be sold at market prices, and the proceeds would be used “for the benefit of the people of Venezuela and the United States.” He emphasized that he would personally oversee the use of the proceeds.
The US President also instructed Energy Secretary Chris Wright to immediately begin implementing this plan. The oil will be transported on storage vessels and delivered directly to unloading docks in the US.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha responded to the United States’ attack on Venezuela and the detention of dictator Nicolas Maduro.
Prior to this, US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau stated that Nicolás Maduro would face justice “for his crimes.” Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that Nicolás Maduro and his wife had been captured and removed from Venezuela.
