Vice-Premier Taras Kachka became the trade representative of Ukraine

Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka became the trade representative of Ukraine.

This was reported by the Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

“The powers of the trade representative of Ukraine have been assigned to the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, Taras Andreevich Utka,” the statement says.

On July 17, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada supported the composition of the new government, in which Kachka replaced Olha Stefanishyna as Deputy Prime Minister.

The main tasks of the trade representative are to ensure the promotion of Ukraine’s economic interests in the European and world markets and to coordinate the activities of trade missions within the foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
