Vladislav Kirichenko, founder of the Nash Format publishing house, has died.
On the morning of January 20, Vladislav Kirichenko, founder of the book publishing house “Our Format” and the public organization “Reformation,” passed away.

Vladislav Kirichenko was 57 years old, and died of severe cancer. “Our Format” noted that he was one of the key figures shaping the intellectual and civic space of modern Ukraine. The date and location of the funeral will be announced later.
Public figures reacted to the publisher’s death. Member of Parliament Volodymyr Ariev wrote that Kirichenko was “strong as flint” and fought “like a lion.” Singer Maria Burmaka remembered him as a man whose publishing house significantly influenced the worldview of Ukrainian readers.
Vladislav Kirichenko was a Ukrainian publisher, entrepreneur, and public figure. In 2006, he acquired the audio publishing house “Kniga Vslukh” (Book Out Loud) and renamed it “Nash Format” (Our Format). In 2023, Kirichenko received the Steel Cross award from former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, for projects for military medics and the publication of books for Ukrainian soldiers.
