European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that on the night of September 7, Russia launched one of its largest combined attacks on Ukraine, hitting both government buildings and residential buildings.

She reported this on Sunday in X.

“The Kremlin is once again mocking diplomacy, trampling on international law and killing indiscriminately,” von der Leyen stressed.

She stressed that Europe will continue to stand by Ukraine: supporting the Armed Forces, working on security guarantees and increasing sanctions pressure on Russia.

Let us recall that on the night of September 7, Russia carried out another massive combined attack against Ukraine , using a record number of attack drones – 810. In addition, ballistic and cruise missiles were used.

Earlier, information appeared that the death of three people in the capital was confirmed after Russian shelling on the night of September 7.

However, the head of the Kiev city military administration, Timur Tkachenko, denied preliminary information about a third victim of the night shelling.
