Voting for the name of the Ukrainian AI has started in “Diya”

Voting has started in Ukraine for the name of the first national major language model, which is being developed together with Kyivstar.

This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

It is about creating a Ukrainian AI that will understand the context, language, dialects, and history of the country and will become the basis for digital services.

According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Ukrainians submitted over 3,000 name options. 10 were selected for the final:

• Radiance
• Ask
• Word
• Call
• Hoverla
• Hiss
• Search
• Core
• Watermelon
• Noise

Voting continues in the Action app until March 29. Users can choose a name in the polls section.

The department notes that participating in the vote allows you to join the creation of Ukrainian artificial intelligence.
