Waited in the air for an hour: Armenian Prime Minister’s plane unable to land in Moscow due to drone attack

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s plane was unable to land in Moscow because the city’s airspace was closed due to a drone attack.
This was reported by Russian media.
As noted, Pashinyan’s plane waited for about an hour to land in the air over the Tver region.
However, without receiving permission, the plane headed to an alternate airfield. As a result, it landed at Pulkovo in St. Petersburg around 1 a.m.
It is known that Pashinyan traveled to the Russian capital after a visit to Germany. There, he plans to participate in a meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council.
In total, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of December 11, air defense systems allegedly intercepted and destroyed 287 drones in 12 regions.
More than 170 flights were delayed as a result of a large-scale drone attack.
As a reminder, on the night of December 11, several regions of Russia were subjected to large-scale drone attacks , which caused fires at industrial facilities and disruptions in air traffic around Moscow.
