On Friday, May 29, in the third round of the French Open, Roland Garros, Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtseva (WTA 55) will play against Chinese Wang Xinyu (WTA 148).
The match will start no earlier than 12:10 Kyiv time.
In the previous round, Starodubtseva caused a real sensation, defeating world number two Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan in three sets – 3:6, 6:1, 7:6. China’s Wang Xinyu defeated American Haley Baptiste, but only because the latter suffered a sudden injury during the match.
Yulia Starodubtseva and Wang Xinyu have never met before. The Ukrainian athlete is slightly favored.
