Warm and sunny: the weather in Ukraine on March 9

On Monday, March 9, warm and sunny weather without precipitation is expected in Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center and weather forecaster Natalia Didenko .

According to Didenko, an anticyclone will prevail in Ukraine on March 9, so no precipitation is forecast.

“March 9th will be warm, sunny, and the birds will be singing! There’s an anticyclone, dry conditions, with daytime highs of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, and highs of 6 to 9 degrees Celsius in the northeast,” the forecaster noted.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center clarified that partly cloudy skies and dry weather are expected across the country.

Ice is possible in some areas of the northeast overnight. Winds will vary from 3 to 8 m/s.

Overnight temperatures will range from minus 1°C to minus 4°C. Daytime temperatures will reach 9–14°C, with highs reaching 17°C in the western regions and 6–11°C in the northeast and east of the country.

Weather in Kyiv

In Kyiv and the region on March 9, partly cloudy skies with no precipitation are expected.

Wind of variable directions, 3-8 m/s.

Temperatures in the region will range from minus 1°C to minus 4°C overnight, with daytime highs of 9°C to 14°C. In the capital, overnight temperatures will be around 0°C, with daytime highs of 11°C to 13°C.
