Ukraine is expecting warmer weather in October than in previous years, with temperatures expected to be 1°C above normal.
This is evidenced by the forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
“The average monthly temperature is expected to be 7-13°C, which is 1°C above normal,” forecasters say.
However, precipitation is expected as usual. Meanwhile, the Carpathians and Crimean Mountains will receive 51-101 mm of precipitation, which is 80-120% of the norm. The rest of the region will receive 31-77 mm of precipitation, which is also within the normal range.
However, as Vera Balabukh, head of the Department of Applied Meteorology and Climatology at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute of the State Scientific Research Institute of the Russian Federation, previously reported, average temperatures will exceed the climatic norm throughout the fall. September is predicted to be the warmest month, but October and November may also be milder than usual.
Indian summer is also expected. This is the period when, after a noticeable cold snap, average daily temperatures rise again to 15°C.
