Warming with a surprise: forecasters warn of precipitation and ice

In the near future, it will gradually warm up in Ukraine, but precipitation and ice are possible in some regions.

According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, it will be dry in most regions on March 4–5. Light sleet and rain are forecast only in the east and northeast of the country.

“On March 4-5, there will be no precipitation in most regions, only in the east and northeast of the country there will be light wet snow and rain; temperature at night from 2°C to 4°C, during the day 4-9°C (in the northeast and east of the country 1-6°C), on March 4 in the western regions, on March 5 in Transcarpathia and the south of the country 10-15°C,” the post says.

At night, ice is possible in places in the north and northeast.

On March 6, precipitation will cover almost the entire country, except for the western regions. There will be light sleet with rain.

“On March 6, in Ukraine, except for the west, light wet snow and rain; temperature at night from 3° Celsius to 2° Celsius, during the day 1-7° Celsius, in the western regions 5-10°. At night in the north, northeast of the country, there is ice on the roads in places. Wind is west, north-west, 5-12 m/s,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center noted.

No precipitation in Kyiv on March 4–5. Temperatures down to 2°C at night, 5–7°C during the day.

Light wet snow is possible in the capital on Friday. Nighttime temperatures will range from -1°C to -1°C, and daytime temperatures will range from -2°C to -4°C.
