Water levels in rivers will rise significantly in March: which regions are at risk of flooding?

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said that the authorities have already begun preparations for spring floods.
She wrote about this on Telegram.
As she noted, this year the increase in river water levels will begin at the end of March.
Potential danger remains for the central regions, and a difficult situation may also arise in the Carpathian region and the Odessa region.
According to Svyrydenko, situation centers will be deployed in each region. In addition, communication between the OVA and the SES will be ensured, and constant monitoring of the hydrological situation will be carried out.
Separate reserves of necessary equipment, fuel, and equipment should be formed for rapid response and elimination of potential consequences.
“We are also preparing a mechanism to support people and communities in the event of flooding. We are creating a Commission to eliminate the consequences, assist victims, pay cash assistance, in particular for the recovery of children, and provide additional support to vulnerable groups,” the Prime Minister concluded.
