“We can assemble a football stadium”: a military man spoke about the losses of the occupiers in the Kostyantynivka direction

In the Konstantinovka direction in the Donetsk region, Russian troops are suffering significant losses as they are actively attacking.

This was reported on Army TV by the presiding officer of the 100th separate mechanized brigade, Dmytro Zenyuk.

According to him, the Russians are trying to “push through” Ukrainian defenses by storming in small infantry groups. Sometimes they use motorcycles and buggies for faster movement.

“More than a dozen, even a hundred enemy fighters have already clashed with our infantry. They continue to stand, continue to hold the front in the Kostyantynivka direction,” the presidium officer emphasized.

Zenyuk noted that in the area of responsibility of his brigade, Russian troops are suffering significant losses.

“You can assemble a pretty good European football stadium just from the dead enemy occupiers,” he added.

The military is convinced that the Russian command does not spare its infantry, as it sends them to conduct assault operations both day and night.

In addition, the enemy is taking advantage of the worsening weather conditions. In particular, in the fog, the Russians are trying to infiltrate Ukrainian defense lines. However, drones and artillery of the Defense Forces detect and destroy them.

We remind you that in the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders attacked 20 times in the areas of the settlements of Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and fighting is currently ongoing in two locations. Kostyantynivka was hit by KAB airstrikes.

As is known, the Russian occupation army is trying to semi-encircle Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region, attacking from several directions – Chasovye Yar, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk – Myrnograd.
