Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, during a trip to the Vitebsk region, threatened to use the Oreshnik missile system against European countries in the event of a “bad” development of events. According to him, the Oreshnik will be put on combat duty in December, so “don’t rush in.”
This is reported by Belarusian media.
Lukashenko visited the Vitebsk region and gave a speech to local residents. He called the Oreshnik a “terrible weapon” and said that the system would soon be on combat duty.
In a speech, the Belarusian leader said: “Oreshnik is a terrible weapon. It will go on combat duty in December.”
Lukashenko directly addressed external opponents with a warning.
“I want them to understand that we can go crazy if things go badly. We’ll sit down with [illegitimate Russian President Vladimir] Putin, make a decision, and go crazy. So don’t rush in,” he said.
In addition, Lukashenko recalled the previously allegedly reached agreements in Minsk and expressed claims that they were allegedly not respected.
“It turns out they came to Minsk to deceive Russia and us. They deceived us. Well, they jumped the gun. […] So what are you doing here? They lived normally. Both the Poles and the Lithuanians, etc.,” he said.
It was previously reported that one of the three Oreshnik complexes was destroyed by the forces of the State Security Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Defense Security Service in Kapustyny Yar.
Recall that in May , the Russian army closed the airspace over the Kapustin Yar test site , from where it launched Oreshnik missiles.
By the way, “Oreshnik” is a new medium-range weapon, developed based on Russian technology , which has a range of up to 5.5 thousand km and “confidently overcomes any air defense systems.”
