According to the head of state, the plan for Ukrainian “long-range sanctions” is being implemented in accordance with the priorities determined by the military-political leadership.

“The Ukrainian long-range sanctions plan against Russia for this war is being implemented in accordance with the established priorities,” Zelenskyy said.

The President reported that Ukrainian weapons are already capable of operating at a distance of over 3,000 kilometers . He also noted that Ukraine continues to build up technological and production capabilities to increase the range of strikes.

According to Zelensky, since the start of the long-range operations plan, Ukrainian forces have carried out more than 1,000 fire missions . Among the targets hit were Russian oil facilities, military production facilities, and logistics infrastructure.

“We have already proven that Ukrainian drones can reach, in particular, targets in the Ural region, in Siberia and other lands remote from Moscow,” the president said.

During the meeting , the list of priority goals was also updated . According to the head of state, they were determined according to the impact on Russia’s ability to produce weapons, supply occupation troops, and finance the war.

Zelensky stressed that the ultimate goal of long-range pressure is to create conditions for a diplomatic end to the war.

“The main goal is for our long-range pressure to further push Russia towards diplomacy due to the complications of producing weapons components, oil and other economic losses, and the return of this war to its “home harbor,” he noted.

The President added that Ukraine’s partners know what steps are needed to increase pressure on Moscow, and the Ukrainian side will continue long-range operations.

“Our accuracy is effectively working to create conditions for real diplomacy,” Zelenskyy concluded.
