US President Donald Trump said that the United States no longer needs Ukraine’s help to counter Iranian drone attacks. According to him, this is due to the expectation of a quick end to the conflict with Iran and sufficient US defense capabilities.

Donald Trump said that the active phase of the confrontation between the United States and Iran may end in the near future. In this regard, according to him, the United States does not see the need for further assistance to Ukraine in countering drones.

The US President emphasized that American defense capabilities allow the country to independently defend itself against air threats.

“The war with Iran will soon be over, so we no longer need Ukraine’s help in the fight against drones. The US military capabilities are sufficient to counter aerial threats on our own. We know more about drones than anyone else. We have the best drones, in fact,” said Donald Trump.

It was previously reported that Ukraine has sent three teams of experts to the Middle East . They will work in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

On the eve, Ukraine sent an expert team and interceptor drones to help protect American military bases in Jordan . The decision was made after the United States requested assistance.

As a reminder, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will send a group of experts to the Persian Gulf countries to train the military to shoot down attack drones . The first group of Ukrainian specialists is scheduled to leave for the region on March 9.
