What documents are needed for men aged 18-22 to travel abroad: list

To travel abroad, men aged 18 to 22 will need to have a military registration document.
This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.
It is worth noting that the Cabinet of Ministers previously approved amendments to the Border Crossing Rules.
“The document has not been made public yet, we will be able to finally talk about the changes introduced after the resolution appears on the Government Portal,” Demchenko noted.
According to currently available information, from the moment the changes come into force, Ukrainian men aged 18 to 22 inclusive will have the right to cross the border during martial law.
It is noted that the changes will not apply to persons holding positions in state authorities, state bodies and local self-government bodies. Travel abroad for this category of persons may only be carried out on official business trips.
Demchenko also noted that to cross the border, men aged 18 to 22 inclusive must have a passport document that gives the right to cross the border, as well as a military registration document.
“Border guards will begin to ensure the passage of this category of citizens, regarding which changes have been adopted, after the publication of these changes and their entry into force,” the spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine added.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko reported that the Cabinet of Ministers had adopted a resolution allowing men aged 18 to 22 to cross the state border unhindered during martial law .
It is worth noting that Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the government to prepare changes that would simplify crossing the state border for men under the age of 22.
By the way, the Servant of the People proposed expanding the possibilities for Ukrainians to travel abroad during martial law, allowing this not only to young men, but also to everyone who has legal grounds for a deferment from mobilization.
