As of the morning of September 14, there are new power outages in four regions due to Russian attacks; power outages have been recorded in the Mykolaiv region due to bad weather.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

“The enemy continues to attack Ukraine’s civilian energy infrastructure. As a result of Russian strikes, there are new power outages in Zaporizhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions this morning. Where security conditions allow, emergency restoration work is already underway,” the report says.

In addition, due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, consumers in the Mykolaiv region are left without electricity this morning. Repair crews from the regional energy company are already restoring damaged power lines.

Electricity consumption as of 9:30 a.m. on Monday is 2% higher than the previous working day – September 11. The reason for this is cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants.

Ukrenergo advises to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
