What Ukraine can use to strike Moscow: the list of weapons is named

If President Trump provides Tomahawk cruise missiles and the MRC Typhon complex with a range of 1,600 kilometers, Ukraine will be able to change the international security system.
This was stated by the director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies, Valentyn Badrak.
“The Washington Post has already written that President Trump is considering the possibility of transferring Tomahawk cruise missiles with a base range of 1,600 km to Ukraine,” Badrak noted.
He added that it would be extremely important for Ukraine to obtain not just Tomahawk missiles, but the MRC Typhon ground-based missile system, capable of simultaneously firing both SM-6 multi-purpose anti-aircraft missiles and Tomahawk Block V cruise missiles, as this would make it a universal launcher for destroying air, ballistic, surface, and ground targets.
Such weapons in Ukraine would be an argument that Ukraine is no less a significant defense partner than the Philippines, which received them.
“No less than the Tomahawk missiles, Ukraine needs the latest Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) with a base range of 500 km. Because this is ballistics that the Russian Federation can only shoot down conditionally. Its previous version – ATACMS – was practically not shot down in Russia,” the expert noted.
Both types of missiles are launched by the HIMARS MLRS, which is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“That is, there is no need to even spend time on training. Although it is difficult to count on such a new weapon, because only in March 2025 the US Army signed contracts for the supply of 1,296 PrSM missiles in the period from 2025 to 2029. And from 2023 to 2025, the supply of 282 missiles was contracted,” Badrak noted.
He added that even 100 missiles in complex use with other means of destruction, primarily cruise missiles, could have a powerful effect.
It is noted that Ukraine also needs AGM-158 JASSM air-to-surface cruise missiles for the F-16 with a range of up to 980 km, as well as AIM-120D air-to-air missiles.
“These are the main options, since it is impossible to list them all within the framework of one article. It is clear that the Defense Forces of Ukraine will need reinforcements in artillery, ammunition, unmanned systems – everything that is capable of neutralizing Putin’s bloody movement deep into the country is needed,” Badrak noted.
Such weapons are capable of changing the world by building a new system of international security. Ukraine can implement such a plan, because it has already become one of the key players in the international arena.
It is worth adding that Trump will soon announce an “aggressive” plan to supply weapons to Ukraine . The US may transfer the missiles it receives to Moscow.
Recall that US President Donald Trump plans to send military aid to Ukraine for the first time since his return to the White House . This decision will be implemented through the so-called presidential powers to reduce arms stocks, which were previously actively used by Joe Biden. The preliminary cost of the package may reach about $ 300 million.
