It is noted that due to the consequences of previous Russian shelling, power reduction schedules for industrial consumers will be in effect in all regions of Ukraine from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Furthermore, due to a massive attack on the power grid, there were widespread power outages in the Chernihiv region this morning: Chernihiv and a significant portion of the region were left without power. Meanwhile, the start of emergency recovery operations is being hampered by an air raid warning signaling more Russian attack drones in the sky.

“As soon as safety conditions permit, consumer recovery will begin immediately,” Ukrenergo emphasized.

It was also reported that as of 9:30 a.m., electricity consumption in Ukraine was 1.4% lower than on October 20. This was due to sunny weather in the western and southern regions of Ukraine. This resulted in the high efficiency of residential solar power systems and a reduction in grid power consumption.

At the same time, the level of electricity consumption remains high.

“The need to conserve electricity remains strong throughout the day. Please limit the use of high-powered electrical appliances and do not turn on several such appliances simultaneously until 10:00 PM,” Ukrenergo urged.
