Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that hostilities in Ukraine will likely cease in the near future, but this does not mean that the threat from Russia will disappear.

He said this during a visit to one of the country’s defense enterprises, tvp.info reports.

“There is a high probability, many signs indicate that the war between Russia and Ukraine will at least be suspended in the near future. However, this does not change our security situation in any way,” Tusk stressed.

He also stressed the importance of further modernizing and strengthening the Polish army amid the ongoing Russian threat.

As a reminder, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain Valeriy Zaluzhny stated that Russia’s war against Ukraine could last until 2034.

As reported, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that, according to NATO and the United States, Russia and China will be ready to confront the West in 2027.
