As of the evening of January 9, the situation with energy supply in Kyiv remains difficult – emergency outages are in effect in the city.

This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko.

According to her, for the vast majority of consumers on the right bank of the capital, scheduled outages have been introduced, while emergency outages are only in effect in areas where repair work is underway. On the other hand, on the left bank, the opposite is true.

At the same time, specialists are working there to restore power supply. The work is in the final stage. Preliminary, the transition to the planned schedules is planned by the end of the day.

In addition, a significant part of Kyiv is still without heat supply. Svyrydenko stressed that services are working and will work continuously to restore heat supply as soon as possible.

The Prime Minister also commented on the situation in Kryvyi Rih and settlements in the Kyiv region. Electricity and heat supply have already been restored to residents there.

As a reminder, on the night of January 9, Kyiv was subjected to a massive combined attack by enemy UAVs , which resulted in damage to residential buildings and infrastructure in several areas of the city.

By the way, emergency power outages have been introduced in the capital as a result of the large-scale attack. The most difficult situation is observed on the left bank.

As is known, after a massive combined attack by the enemy, critical infrastructure facilities were damaged in Kyiv. Almost 6,000 apartment buildings were left without heat supply , and water supply disruptions are also being recorded in the city.
