Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with the Head of the Ministry of Finance Serhiy Marchenko.
She wrote about this on social media.
In particular, Svyrydenko instructed the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a decision on the formation of a competition commission to select the head of the customs service.
In addition, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of conducting the selection transparently and professionally to improve the work of customs.
“Customs should become a modern service that meets European Union standards and works 100% honestly to fill the budget,” she concluded.
Recall that the updated IMF program will provide for a review of Ukraine’s commitments in the field of reforms , including: restarting the Bureau of Economic Security, changes in the customs service, and others.
