Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with American leader Donald Trump today, September 23, at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Thiswas reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Office of the President.
It is known that the meeting will take place at the UN General Assembly in New York and will last about 45 minutes.
The presidents are scheduled to make brief statements to journalists at the beginning. After the meeting, Zelensky will speak to representatives of the press.
The Ukrainian president has already held talks with Trump’s special representative Keith Kellogg, OP reports .
In particular, they discussed the situation on the front, the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States – agreements on drones and the purchase of American weapons.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he is preparing for a “week of diplomacy” , during which almost 20 meetings with world leaders will take place.
