Where will the lights be turned off on December 18: Ukrenergo’s response

On Thursday, December 18, electricity consumption restriction schedules will apply in most Ukrainian regions.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

As the company explained, the restrictions were introduced due to the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.

Therefore, hourly power outage schedules will apply to residential consumers, and power limitation schedules will apply to industry.

The press service of Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the energy system may change. Given this, consumers should check the current information on the regional energy companies’ pages.

“When electricity is available on schedule, please consume it sparingly,” the company urged.

Recall that Ukraine’s energy system is on the verge of a serious collapse , and Kyiv and the eastern regions may be left without electricity.

As is known, in Ukraine, the duration of power outage schedules will be reduced after reviewing the lists of critical infrastructure facilities.
