Tomorrow, December 24, measures to limit electricity consumption will be implemented in all Ukrainian regions.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Hourly power outage schedules will apply to residential consumers, while power will be limited for industry and business.
The reason for this is the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities.
The company did not specify how many outage queues will be applied simultaneously.
It is emphasized that the situation in the power system may change, so subscribers are advised to follow updates on the pages of regional energy companies.
“When electricity appears on schedule, please consume it sparingly!” Ukrenergo urged.
As a reminder, Russian troops carried out a massive air strike on Ukraine, using over 600 drones and dozens of missiles – the main target of the attack was energy infrastructure facilities , particularly in the western regions.
By the way, after the massive Russian attack on December 23, Ukrainian nuclear power plants reduced electricity production , and consumers were blacked out in eight regions.
