On Thursday, January 29, measures to limit electricity consumption will be introduced in all Ukrainian regions due to Russian shelling.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
Thus, hourly outage schedules will apply to residential consumers, and capacity limitation schedules will apply to industry.
Ukrenergo warned that the situation in the power system may change within 24 hours, so consumers should follow the latest information on the regional energy companies’ pages.
“When electricity is available on schedule, please use it sparingly!” the company urged.
It was previously reported that emergency power outages are in effect in Kyiv and the Kyiv region due to a significant electricity shortage.
