President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced who will represent Ukraine at upcoming negotiations with the United States regarding the American “peace plan.” The delegation will be led by the heads of the state’s security and diplomatic blocs.
He spoke about this during his address .
The Ukrainian side has completed the formation of a delegation for negotiations with the United States regarding their “peace plan”. The delegation will include:
- Chief of the General Staff Andriy Gnatov,
- Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov,
- representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ukrainian intelligence.
In an address on November 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the work of the Ukrainian delegation will focus exclusively on issues of defense and protection of state interests.
“When we all have such an external challenge – war, we must be strong inside. One hundred percent of our strength will be focused on the defense of Ukraine. Everyone must now act in this way, in the interests of our state, and defend our state,” Zelensky said.
The Head of State announced that a meeting between Ukraine and the United States will take place in the near future.
In his statement, Zelensky also emphasized that the delegation will work in a coordinated manner and represent a coordinated position of Ukraine in the dialogue with the United States.
