Political reshuffles in power remain open: there is still no decision on the new head of the President’s Office and the new Prime Minister. According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, all the widespread “insider” reports are not true .

The politician himself reported this on his Telegram channel.

Zheleznyak notes that the President’s team is currently considering four candidates, but it is possible that a new candidate will emerge and eventually receive the appointment. He emphasized that the choice of the head of the OP will automatically affect the entire government bloc, so decisions will be made comprehensively.

Among the most likely candidates:

Yulia Svyrydenko – has the trust of the President, but her appointment may be thwarted due to the need for a complete reappointment of the Cabinet, which complicates the process in the Rada.

Mykhailo Fedorov is popular, effective, and also has the support of the President. At the same time, his strength lies in the work of the government, not in the political position of the head of the OP.

Kirill Budanov has a strong reputation and a high level of trust, but he is maximally effective in the field of security, and the GUR is a de facto autonomous structure.

Denys Shmyhal is a neutral figure who is completely satisfied with the President. But in the event of his transfer, a new defense minister will have to be sought, and one of the options may be Fedorov himself.

Zheleznyak emphasized that any other talks about changing the government or individual ministers are meaningless until a key decision is made regarding the head of the OP – after all, personnel reshuffles are closely related.

As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced who will represent Ukraine in upcoming negotiations with the United States regarding the American “peace plan.”

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree dismissing Andriy Yermak from the position of Head of the Presidential Office.
