In particular, in this way, the enemy seeks to present this as a victory, the Central Military District explained.
Kovalenko noted that the Russians hung their flag on the ceiling in Pokrovsk, however, the Defense Forces quickly destroyed it.
Currently, the occupiers who have made their way into the city are trying to hide there, but the Ukrainian defense forces are eliminating them.
He also commented on the situation in Myrnograd. According to the head of the Central Military District, information about the event on the outskirts of the city is not confirmed. He added that enemy groups are being destroyed in the direction.
“The situation on the front is dynamic, because the Russians have thrown a lot of forces into this direction,” Kovalenko concluded.
As a reminder, the enemy continues to gradually penetrate Pokrovsk , increasing its presence with infantry units and increasing pressure on Ukrainian positions.
