Wife of suspected AMCU Chairman Kyrylenko’s bail reduced 37 times

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court reduced the bail of the wife of the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Kyrylenko, by 37 times.

During the hearing, the Appeal overturned the ruling of the investigating judge of the High Court of Criminal Appeals, which imposed a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 9 million hryvnias on the suspect Alla Kyrylenko.

The Appeals Chamber rejected the appeal of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, which requested to increase the bail to 11 million hryvnias, and partially satisfied the defense’s appeal.

As a result, the bail was reduced from 9 million hryvnias to 242 thousand hryvnias.

It is worth mentioning that for the Minister of National Unity, Oleksiy Chernyshov, who is suspected of corruption, his wife and two other suspicious subjects posted bail .

In addition, Minister Chernyshov, despite suspicions of corruption, was not suspended from his duties .

By the way, the State Bureau of Investigation has set a total bail of one billion hryvnia for the imprisoned probation officers, from whom they want to extract testimony against Petro Poroshenko.
