The national energy company “Ukrenergo” has denied rumors about the alleged introduction of emergency power outages throughout Ukraine. The situation in the power system remains stable and controlled, and the information being disseminated is another fake.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo .

After the massive nighttime missile and drone attack on Ukraine, information about allegedly expected emergency power outages in all regions of the country began to spread in a number of Telegram channels. These messages were stylized as official announcements from the Ministry of Energy and contained links to alleged statements by NPC Ukrenergo.

However, the company emphasized that no restrictions on electricity consumption have been introduced.

“Beware, fakes! After the massive nighttime missile and drone attack, inaccurate information about allegedly expected emergency power outages in all regions of Ukraine is being spread in many Telegram channels,” Ukrenergo said in a statement.

The press service emphasized that such messages are an attempt to manipulate the sensitive topic of energy supply, which remains especially relevant during the war. Citizens were urged not to follow suspicious links, as fraudsters can use users’ personal data for their own purposes.

As of October 5, Ukraine’s power system is operating stably — all facilities are under control, consumption is balanced, and Ukrenergo is not applying any restrictions or emergency shutdowns in any region of the country.
