On Tuesday, September 3, the geomagnetic situation will begin to return to a relatively calm state. After the powerful storm observed earlier, the activity index will decrease to Kp=5, which corresponds to a weak G1 class storm.

This is evidenced by updated forecasts from space weather experts.

Although the Earth’s magnetic field is still experiencing some disturbances, the intensity of the fluctuations will be significantly reduced. At the same time, weather-sensitive people may continue to experience minor discomfort – headaches, fatigue, or emotional fluctuations.

“The situation is much calmer than the day before, but geomagnetic instability still persists,” experts note.

How to reduce the impact of magnetic storms

▪ People with chronic diseases are advised to adhere to their prescribed treatment and carry the necessary medications with them.
▪ It is important to ensure adequate rest, regular sleep, and spend more time outdoors.
▪ Walking, especially in the evening, will help relieve tension and improve your well-being.
▪ During this period, it is worth choosing light meals, drinking more water, and refraining from drinking alcohol.

As a reminder, on Tuesday, September 2, a serious geomagnetic disturbance descended on Earth. According to data from international monitoring systems, the geomagnetic activity index (K-index) reached 6.7 in the afternoon . This corresponds to the level of a magnetic storm of medium and high intensity — G2–G3.
