Will the price of gas for household consumers be increased in winter: Zelensky’s response

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a fixed price for gas will be maintained for household consumers in the winter.

He said this in an evening video address.

The President emphasized that the cost of gas will be fixed, which means that there will be no price increase.

“This winter, we will maintain a fixed price for gas for household consumers – there will be no gas price increases,” the message says.

As a reminder, amid increasing Russian attacks on the energy system , Ukraine plans to increase gas imports by a third and has already begun negotiations with international partners.

As is known, Russia has recently intensified attacks on the Ukrainian energy grid, in particular on gas installations , which are key components of the country’s heating system.
