Winter has returned to Ukraine: severe frost and snow hit the Carpathians

Today, March 19, it got significantly colder in Ukraine – in the Carpathians, on Mount Pip Ivan, snow fell and severe frost struck.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The mountain slopes were covered in snow, visibility was limited, and the air temperature dropped to -8°C in the morning.
In addition, there is cloudy weather all around, and wind gusts reach 12 meters per second.
Meanwhile, social media users reported that the popular ski resort of Bukovel had also been covered in snow. Vacationers there were skiing as it snowed.
Earlier, Natalka Didenko warned that cold and wet weather is expected in Ukraine . Wet snow is possible in some regions.
