Winter is not retreating: frost grips part of Ukraine after temporary warming

This week, Ukraine will experience warm and humid weather – wet snow, rain, and fog are expected in a number of regions, however, a cold snap will come later.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

According to her, visibility will be low, and due to the “plus” temperature, ice and snow will gradually melt.

“Situational rivers and lakes will appear in the middle of the streets,” the expert warned.

In particular, warm weather is forecast for most regions tomorrow, February 24. The air temperature will rise to +3°C, in some places in the southern and western regions to +8 °C, and at night it will drop to 0°C.

No significant changes in the weather are expected the next day.

And on February 26, a slight cold snap will come to Ukraine. According to experts from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the thermometer will drop to -4°C.

In addition, frosty weather is expected in the coming days. At night, the temperature will range from -1°C to -9°C.

The coldest will be at the beginning of next month – -9°C is expected on March 1. The northern and eastern parts of Ukraine are hit hardest by frost.
