“Winter Support” is now on the shelves: how to spend state funds on food

Since December 11, Ukrainians have been able to spend funds from the state programs “Winter Support” and “National Cashback” on domestically produced food products, except for excisable goods.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, more than 1,160 stores across the country are currently participating in the program.

Minister Oleksiy Sobolev emphasized that expanding the program infrastructure allows even more Ukrainians to benefit from state assistance, while at the same time supporting the domestic market.

The department clarified that currently, program funds cannot be used for online orders, but additional grocery chains will join the initiative in the near future.

As a reminder, on Saturday, November 15, Ukraine officially opened the application process for participation in the state program “Winter Support”, which provides for a one-time payment of 1,000 hryvnias . You can apply through the “Diya” application, and the funds will be credited to the “National Cashback” card.

As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to wind down the “National Cashback” program, which provides for interest payments on the purchase of Ukrainian goods.
