President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Pope Leo XIV during a working visit to Italy. The meeting lasted about 30 minutes.
This is reported by UNN.
After the talks, Zelensky and the Pope went out onto the balcony of Villa Barberini, where they briefly greeted journalists. They made no statements or answered questions.
The parties took a joint photo on the terrace. After that, the President of Ukraine left Villa Barberini in Castel Gandolfo, where the papal residence is located.
As previously reported, a meeting of European leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took place in London.
