Without Henry Cavill: Netflix has shown the first teaser for the fourth season of “The Witcher”

Streaming service Netflix has released the first teaser for the fourth season of The Witcher. In it, Liam Gemsworth replaces Henry Cavill in the leading role of Geralt.

The plot will cover the events of the fourth book from the Universe of Andrzej Sapkowski – “Baptism of Fire”. The season also received an official premiere date: October 30, 2025, approximately as expected according to rumors earlier.

Change the cast of the series

In the fourth season of The Witcher, Liam Gemsworth will replace Henry Cavill as Geralt, and Peter Mullan will now play Wesemer instead of Kim Bodnia. The change is explained by scheduling conflicts: Bodnia was unable to adjust to the filming of the season. Henry Cavill said that he left the series due to exhaustion – he did all his own stunts and filmed 12 hours a day.
