The Russian command has problems with reserves in the Lyman direction and is forced to reduce the time for training the military before their dispatch to the front. At the same time, the Ukrainian military says that Operation Vivaldi continues, and the situation for the enemy remains difficult.
This was stated in a comment to “Censor.NET” by the deputy commander of the Third Army Corps, Rollo.
He noted that the Russians will have to look for additional solutions and replenish their forces with reserves. According to the military, the Russian command has already used available resources to concentrate troops.
“The enemy will definitely be forced to look for a solution and attract reserves. But their command is in a difficult situation, because it has already used up the available resources and concentration of forces,” Rollo noted.
Speaking about the impact of Operation Vivaldi, the deputy commander of the 3rd Army Corps emphasized that it is too early to draw final conclusions, as hostilities within its borders are still ongoing.
According to him, Russian units have partially lost their organization and are trying to hold key defense areas. At the same time, the Ukrainian military continues to operate at its own pace.
“The operation is still ongoing. We can only assess the intermediate effects. The enemy is partially disorganized and is trying to cling to key defense areas. The pace of the 3rd Army Corps has been imposed on him. The initiative is in our hands. We dictate the rules on the battlefield. What happens next,” said Rollo.
In turn, the spokesman for the 3rd AK, Alexander Borodin, reacted to information about a possible appeal by newly elected deputies of the Russian State Duma to Defense Minister Andrei Belousov. This is an alleged call to withdraw Russian troops from the most problematic areas of the Lymansky direction.
Borodin stated that the Ukrainian military understands the sentiments of the Russian deputies. He also gave the ratio of the losses of the Russian army and added that the details of Operation Vivaldi will become known later.
“We understand the sentiments of the Russian deputies. The enemy’s losses are 1:30, and in some cases 1:40. Over time, you will learn more – Operation Vivaldi is ongoing!”, the spokesman emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that the Third Army Corps revealed the details of the offensive operation “Vivaldi” in the north of Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military cleared 75 square kilometers of territory from Russian groups and deoccupied another 10 square kilometers.
