Work of checkpoints on the border of Ukraine resumed — State Customs Service

The work of checkpoints on the state border of Ukraine has been restored after a temporary failure. The reason for the stoppage was the lack of power supply due to the massive shelling of energy infrastructure.

This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine.

The department noted that after emergency work, the functioning of information systems was restored. Customs officers are already processing citizens and vehicles both entering and leaving Ukraine.

“The work of checkpoints on the state border is being resumed. The work of information systems on the border has been restored, and the registration of citizens and vehicles for entry into and exit from Ukraine has begun,” the message says.

The State Customs Service reminded that border crossing operations were suspended for several hours due to a power outage, which was a result of a hostile attack on energy facilities. Currently, the power supply has been stabilized, and border crossing points are operating normally.
